Mindfulness is simple but not necessarily easy. Learning how to practice is key. The skills taught in the MBSR course will guide you in how to apply Mindfulness to all aspects of your life."

What can you expect from the course:

  •  To understand; What is mindfulness and how to apply the practice to everyday stresses of life.

  • The different forms of Mindful Meditation.

  •  Ways to deal with the difficult aspects of life and ways to cultivate the positive aspects.

  •  Explore Mindful movement and physical ways to move stress through the body.

  •  Discover how emotion can be physically stored in the body, and ways you may store yours.

  • Cultivate compassion for our selves and others and learn how this is good for you.

  • Establish a regular meditation practice that can be adapted into any day no matter how busy.

  • Different Mindfulness techniques to help bring harmony and balance to your life.

What are you committing to?


  •  an individual phone interview with Sarah and submission of an application form

  • a 1.5 hour class once a week for eight weeks plus worksheets to be completed at home

  • A mindful movement which is a blend of yoga, simple stretching and body awareness 

  • Exploration of patterns of thinking, feeling and movement and how to become aware of which patterns serve you well and those that don't.

  • informative talks and group participation

  • individual feedback and support

  • a brief understanding of the research and scientific findings for the practice

  • your commitment to daily homework practice using audio tracks and course book
